diy pallet table

This is my first DIY of this kind (sawing, sanding etc) and I had alot of fun doing it! This time I filmed my DIY so click play below to see how to turn a wooden pallet into a coffee table!

YOU WILL NEED:

-Wooden pallet (check skips and diy stores, but always ask!)
-Legs for the table
-Screwdriver
-Sander
-Saw
-Screws & brackets
-Paint / Varnish

STEP ONE

First of all paint the legs for your table so they have time to dry as they may need several coats.

STEP TWO:

Decide how big you want your table, and saw off either end of the pallet. I chose two planks off each end.

STEP THREE:

Now take a plank of wood off the rest of the palette and use this to screw the two ends together. Flip the whole thing over and sand it till it's smooth and splinter free.

STEP FOUR:

Remove any dust off the palette and use a varnish or stain of your choice to treat the wood ready for use as a table.

STEP FIVE:

Attach brackets to the legs, and attach the legs to the pallet! DONE :)
